Current Rates

The apartment is available to rent at the following rates:​

  • For stays of 7 nights or more, please email or phone us for a discounted rate.
  • Children under 2 years stay free of charge, children over 2 but under 12 years will be charged at £10 each per night supplement. 12-16 year olds will be charged at 50% of the adult rate.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque.
  • A deposit of 25% is payable on booking and is non-refundable. A final payment of 75% must be made in full 6 weeks before arrival (unless by prior mutual agreement). Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to stay.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or PayPal. We recommend that you have travel insurance in place.
  • Pets are welcome, rates are £10 for small dogs and £20 for large dogs (per dog per stay).
  • All bookings will be confirmed by email.​

Direct Booking Offers

  • For all direct bookings through our website or by directly contacting us, we offer a year round discount to all our customers and guarantee to beat any online travel agents prices (OTAs).
  • Special offer - Any bookings of 6 nights or over will get a free nights stay. This offer is valid from April 2020, for stays in August (lockdown dependant) until December 2020.
  • No hidden charges.
  • No commission to pay.
  • Early check-in and late check-out times for direct bookings (wherever possible) which will not be offered to OTA bookings.
  • Free left luggage prior to or after departure.

Terms & Conditions

"The Hirer" is the name of the person on the booking confirmation. "The Accommodation" relates to Fort Charlotte Self Catering.

  1. There is no minimum stay. Access to the accommodation on the date of arrival is 2.00pm. Vacation of the accommodation is 10am on the day of departure. An early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement, please contact us to confirm.​​
  2. A deposit of 25% is payable on booking. A final payment of 75% must be made in full 6 weeks before arrival (unless by prior mutual agreement) and is non-refundable. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to stay. Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque or PayPal. All invoices are payable by immediate return, any outstanding invoices will be charged at 4% interest per month.
  3. Please ensure that you have travel insurance in place in the event of you having to cancel your stay. We cannot guarantee the re-letting of rooms at short notice and therefore you will not be entitled to a refund. An invoice will be supplied to anyone who needs to claim off their travel insurance.
  4. The accommodation is a non-smoking property. A charge will be applied to anyone smoking within the premises of £100.
  5. Pets are welcome with prior arrangement. There is a one off charge, per dog, of £20 per stay.
  6. All bedlinen and towels are included in the rental charge.
  7. The accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy manner. All used bedding and towels should be left in the bathroom ready for laundering. If the accommodation is deemed to be in an unclean state, a charge will be invoiced direct to The Hirer.
  8. The Hirer shall not sub-let the premises or any part thereof.
  9. The number of people occupying the premises shall not exceed six persons.​
  10. The Hirer will vacate the The Accommodation without demand on the date of departure.​
  11. The Hirer will inform us and pay for any loss or damages to The Accommodation.​
  12. The Accommodation accept no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any member of The Hirer’s party or their property, arising in any manner out of the let of the premises, however caused.​
  13. The Hirer shall undertake to prevent any member of his party from causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbouring residents or occupiers.​
  14. The Hirer will ensure that The Accommodation is left secure if unoccupied during the period of let.
  15. The Hirer warrants that the subjects let are to be used for the purpose of holiday or business accommodation. Accordingly, Section 12(2) and Paragraphs of Schedule 4 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 applies to the letting to The Hirer.​
  16. We reserve the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance.
